A new Packing House was built to prepare products for
export quality. Upon reaching the Packing House the
Papaya is washed, sized and graded by means of a single
electronic machine.

The thermotherapy lines are used in order to control diseases
and insure a longer shelf life for the product. The
precooling helps ensure the fruit is better preserved.

The Papaya processing is performed by the Linhares Facility
in the State of Espírito Santo and by the Ceará
Mirim Facility in the State of Rio Grande do Norte.

In its Packing House, at Linhares facility, the company
has a total of 2160 m3 of cold storage, distributed in 8
chambers.

Gaia transports its Papaya pallets in coolers, which
are directly unloaded into the aircrafts. For maritime
transportation cooled containers are used, which are
stuffed in our own
packings.
Therefore, we are insuring a perfect cold chain and a longer
shelf life for the product.
